Just 5 minutes? Is important.
We love individual vintage clothing and want to create a place with our company that makes it easy to share this love and realize yourself. Welcome to your little virtual vintage paradise.
If you simply love fashion, you would like to expand your wardrobe and in the evening after a long day at work your eyes close like Chrissi after half a page in the novel, then you can rest easy and don't have to feel guilty about reading any further. But before you browse, you should know that we are trying to create fashion consumption in an ongoing process that ultimately creates an ecosystem that is not designed to the detriment of the environment and people. Not only do clothes make people, but above all , people make clothes.
We tried to look for the most sustainable alternatives at every level. If you ultimately choose a piece of clothing from us responsibly and consciously, then we have tried with a lot of love and passion to offer you a sustainable alternative for clothing.
Your Jenny, your Chrissi

If your interest goes beyond the previous information, then we would of course like to give you even more insights into our thinking and our values.
We, Jenny and Chrissi, are two people who work very stubbornly on our own dreams. We know what we can do, but we also constantly remind ourselves to know what we cannot do.
What we can do: We can offer an alternative in the textile industry. We have a colorful bag of herbs, just like at the weekly market, but the zucchini can sometimes be smaller and sometimes larger. So as diverse and unique as vegetables, people and animals are, Jaama is just as unique. What we can't do: Even if we wanted to, we don't imagine that we can change the entire fast fashion industry with Jaama. We want to create a small and valuable impact on resource protection that is convincing through our personal offering, rather than going around the world with bans. For us, it's more about education and appreciation of clothing items. Did you know, for example, that the annual production of clothing consumes more CO 2 than all air and shipping traffic combined? Maybe we can contribute a small but valuable change.
We have hand-selected all of our pieces that you can discover here and put them through their paces. We pay attention to a diverse product portfolio, which clearly goes against the traditional aspect of “one-size-fits-for-all” . All relevant dimensions are listed in our product description so that you can compare your measurements at home in a few minutes.
As photographers and videographers, we love stories . Telling stories is the greatest thing for us. We also see vintage fashion as a storyteller. Behind every piece of clothing there is its own, individual story. A story that only the individual piece knows.
Since we only offer second hand pieces here and in the best case scenario they have a worn past, it is sometimes very difficult to offer special yet high quality vintage second hand clothing. Since we ourselves are customers in many other areas, we would expect to receive an old, new item in great condition. We have tried to meet our own quality expectations and yet sometimes we cannot rule out the possibility that there may be one or two signs of wear. However, if something is particularly noticeable, you will find it in the product description.
After we selected and checked the individual pieces, we photographed each piece for you in our small studio from different perspectives so that you can get the best possible impression. We know and see it as a clear advantage to be able to get a personal impression of fashion. We will still do everything possible to present the article to you as close as possible.
In addition to the measurements already mentioned above, we have of course specified the material . The material plays an increasingly important role when choosing clothing. If the material label is missing, we have recorded this and provided an estimate to the best of our knowledge and belief.
If you have fallen in love here and purchased a unique piece, we will try to get your new favorite piece to you as quickly as possible via DHL Go Green . (You can find more information about shipping under “Shipping costs and delivery”)
Even if, for example, we save around 8,000 liters of water per se by purchasing second-hand jeans as opposed to producing new jeans, we still want, in addition to protecting resources, to make our entrepreneurial activities as socially and ecologically compatible as possible along our value chain design. This also means that we pay attention to non-transparent processes before we enter the market cycle and do not ethically absolve ourselves of external processes (e.g. the flood of clothing in the West or export to other countries, etc.), which result in us producing high-quality and unique clothing hold in one's hands according to "Western" criteria. We would like to work towards this in the future.
If you want to be a small part of this process, then our hearts couldn't be happier.
We thank you for taking the time.
Your Jenny, your Chrissi
