We looked at the aspects long and intensively. A fallacy that we were convinced of for a long time, cleared up straight away. Shipping or returns can never be “free” .

Regardless of whether the shipping costs are included in the product prices by the company or are added externally during check-out; In the end, at least the environment and the climate pay their price. The parcel delivery person is not even considered here. In the end, companies will hopefully compensate for external factors as best they can. However, the most environmentally friendly consumption remains abstinence.

As a small company, we unfortunately cannot cover the costs of shipping and returns for budget reasons. But not only do we have costs associated with shipping and returns, but also as consumers. On average, it takes around 30 minutes for a consumer to make a return. We would like to save you 30 minutes by describing the item as clearly as possible using dimensions, photos, descriptions and materials.

It would be the greatest thing for us if our item and size description helped ensure that your favorite item will soon be hanging in your wardrobe. Make a big impact and save on returns for the climate and the environment with a great and suitable selection.

In 2020 alone there were around 315,000,000 returns in Germany. We try to provide incentives for conscious, mindful and sustainable consumption through priced shipping. Only buy what is needed.

As sustainable as our consumer offering is due to the lack of new production, we do not want to throw resource savings overboard by incentivizing consumption. At the beginning of the new company, this also meant that we did not design an order value above which shipping would be “free”. During the course of the process, more specifically in mid-September 2022, we decided to make a change. Since such a nice community has emerged here at Jaama, which treats us with so much love and constant, supportive positivity, we have realized one thing over time: namely that shipping for orders over €100 should be borne by us, than from YOU! So move away from the idea that we are creating incentives for a bad purpose and instead say THANK YOU to you who want to stand so passionately behind the idea of ​​sustainable fashion. Space for the “good cause”!

Of course, you have the option to cancel the contract within 14 days in accordance with the right of cancellation . Totally easy and completely okay for us, it is only important to us that goods in which there was serious interest are actually returned. We just always try to achieve the best.
